The Owners of Traslucido are graduates (in set design and painting) of the Accademia delle Belle Arti (Academy of Fine Arts) in Florence. The store opened in 1985, the store focuses exclusively on the historical periods of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and the 40s and 50s ,60’s of 20th century Italy and Europe. The owners carefully select furniture, glass and ceramic objects, lighting (chandeliers, floor lamps, table lamps, sconces), paintings and sculptures from the Italian school and from other countries. Particular attention is paid to the quality and rarity of an item to ensure that the customer can always find the right deal. Within the range one can find artifacts such as tables, sideboards, armchairs, sofas and coffee tables, mirrors from the most significant Italian and European furniture makers of the twentieth century.
